Cake Queen HOW-TO GUIDE
ESTIMATED COMPLETION TIME: Anywhere from 4 months to 1 year.
NECESSARY MATERIALS: Computer, notebook, and pen or pencil.
PRE-REQUISITES: General modern technology knowledge and skills such as using social media or email.
Advice #1: PHASE BY PHASE CREATES THE MAZE
CAKE QUEEN is designed in "phases" of subject matter so that you conquer one area of your business at a time before moving onto the next. You may feel like you want to jump ahead to work on material that seems more fun for you, and that's fine to do; however, know that the system I've created here has been honed for the past ten years and is the most efficient way I've learned to build an online business from scratch.
Advice #2: TO BECOME A BUTTERFLY, YOU MUST RADICALLY CHANGE
You may go into CAKE QUEEN with a business idea in mind already, and that's fantastic if that's the case! But don't be fooled by desperation or stubborn attempts to fit a model of what you think ought to be done. Allow yourself and your brand to adapt to whatever needs to happen in order for you to find success, even if that means doing things in a way you hadn't thought to do before.
Advice #3: BUILD WHAT YOU WISH ALREADY EXISTED
In CAKE QUEEN, I'll ask you to explore what your competitors and peers are already offering within your brand's given industry, but that doesn't mean you should copy their style! Instead, look at these brand's to find ways that you can make yours stand out. If you find yourself struggling with this, get back in touch with why you're creating your business in the first place and let that steer you back toward authenticity.
Advice #4: DOCUMENT YOUR JOURNEY
Please document all of the ANSWER ME! writing prompts in a designated CAKE QUEEN notebook or journal for future reflection. Copious note-taking will ensure that the information in this course sticks well the first time through or can be easily accessed by you in your time of need.
The Choice* Is Yours
*But might I suggest using a RocketBook? Of which, yes - of course I'm an affiliate! I freakin' LOVE my RocketBooks!!!
CAKE QUEEN is overflowing with helpful worksheets, planners, charts, and diagrams, almost all of which can be printed off if that serves you best.
However, you could also choose to use your own notebook and copy the worksheet designs into that instead. Feel free to do whichever best suits you.
Whatever you do, TAKE NOTES!!! Keep a notebook handy so you can jot down fun ideas, random thoughts, or basic notes as they come to you.
You will be learning a lot of new information and - as we all learned in grade school - note taking helps to make sure the content sticks!
Pre-Course: INTRODUCTION
Before you dive in and make a masterpiece, , check out these necessary pre-course BUFFERS to get yourself in the right mindset for conjuring the most greatness.
Learn what you can expect to accomplish in your first year as a Cake Queen, learn what it means to walk the fine line between over and underwhelmed, and take a gander at what's possible to create in the realm of online business.
Then, when you're ready to rumble, meet me over in Module I: CONCEPTUALIZE for Lesson #1: Who Are You?
Bonus Video:
WHAT ONCE WAS IS NOW NO MORE.
WHAT MUST COME NEXT IS FROM YOUR CORE.
I wrote those words in 2018 without realizing how profoundly divine they'd be in this current timeline. Watch the video below to learn the quantum rippled depths of this mantra and get centered on what your mission is during this lifetime.
Module I: CONCEPTUALIZE
In this Module, you'll discover your personal cornucopia of business potential and then choose your favorite opportunity to bring to life.
You'll be asked to comprehensively reshape your lifestyle - incorporating mind, body, and soul - so you can quickly get situated into a boss Queen routine and hit the ground running.
I'd also like to invite you to host your own Wonderland Retreat from the comfort of your home so you can start this journey off on a healthy note. I personally use this retreat model once a month to reset my habits and goals for optimum results as I see fit.

LESSON #5:
Module II: STRATEGIZE
In this Module, you'll precisely hone in on your offerings and discover where you can boost product desirability by doing some specific audience research.
You'll find that my styles of market analysis and brand strategizing emphasize your personal interests in your brand, thus ensuring that the community you create is filled with people like you who love what you have to offer.
You'll be asked you to take a serious look at your upcoming schedule so you can create expectations to match your availability, as well as address any fears you have about the work ahead. You'll also be asked to affirm your intentions with this course and your business endeavor as a personal vow of commitment to this cause.
Module III: MAXIMIZE
In this Module, you'll organize your efforts to achieve maximum ROI from your time, energy, money, and content.
I put a strong emphasis on honing your content, community, and availability before you launch anything for one quintessential reason: how you choose to show up changes everything!
A clear vision with solid - but flexible - expectations coupled with an organized strategy for optimal delivery turns any crazy idea into a reasonable opportunity.
In this module, you'll fine-tune your marketing strategy, amplify your content, wrap your head around vision confidence, and take control of your schedule once and for all.

Module IV: OFFERS
In this Module, you'll create products and freebies that will captivate your audience with crisp copywriting and suitable pricing.
Around these parts, we say "content is queen," and it essentially means that having good content is all that truly matters. Creating products and freebies with value is crucial.
Forget web design, forget newsletter campaigns, forget marketing plans. If what you're offering isn't enticing on its own, then you need to recreate your offer.
In this Module, we'll explore what makes a killer online product, how to develop attractive freebies for winning over client emails, and what makes for kickass copywriting and product pricing!
You'll even organize a scaled-up product schedule so you have a clear vision of what to do specifically in the future.

Module V: CONTENTS
In this Module, you'll learn how to build phenomenal "content" for your audience based on the work you've already created.
"Content" stands for: blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, copywriting, and landing pages. It can also be freebie, marketing and sales materials.
In this Module, we'll be focusing on the written and visual content that make up the majority of your website appearance and audience interactions.
You'll create a newsletter trail, write your first blog posts, brainstorm static and sales copywriting, and develop static page designs.
What you learn in this Module will carry over into the next. I want you to build upon your content blocks in preparation for creating your website.

Module VI: SUPPORTS
In this Module, all of the organization that you did in Module II: STRATEGIZE is about to get kicked up a notch.
You'll start by finalizing your static page content and formatting those page layouts, and you'll end by choosing the official rough draft of your first product landing page.
I say "official rough draft" because - as you've learned by now - an online business is nothing if not a continuous work in progress.
It's not about being perfect right out of the gate. Running an online business is more about consistent, organized adjustments as you grow with your business than it is about appearing professional.
In this Module, you'll put your organized plans into action before we jump into building your website.

Then, we'll move into the heavy stuff: filling out your content and designing your site's appearance.
If you've completed all of your homework up to this point, this Module will go down like a delicious piece of cheesecake!
If, however, you've lagged on curating your necessary components, pages, or design elements, this section will become a work in progress as you tune the details along the way.

Building off of what you've already created, I'll show you how to implement a streamlined content posting routine that you can easily and consistently follow.
After all, your business will only be successful if you're able to produce quality content AND share it accordingly, promptly, and beautifully.

LESSON #40:
Module IX: FUNNEL
In this Module, you'll double back and streamline your sales, marketing, and connection funnels to lead everyone back to the main call to action: BUY, BUY, BUY.
Using what you've already curated I'll show you how to design killer landing pages and utilize minor content strategies to maximize your gains and magnetically attract your clients to you from near and far.
This Module is a process. A long, at times boring, mostly tedious process. Inside, you'll learn how to peak your audience interests with sales strategies that enlighten their day while expanding your reach.
And when it's all said and done, you'll save a helluva lot of time in the long-run by having streamlined systems for client acquisition, marketing and outreach protocol, target market research, and more.

And because you're building a business strategy that you want to ENJOY doing, I'll show you how to transform your expectations, fears, old routines and work styles, and mindset to embrace this new change with the least resistance.
This Module will provide you with website 2.0 updates for when you're ready to go from beta to badass with your website, as well as teach you how to speed up your loading speed and check in on your visitor data.
And because I love ya so much, I've even included a launch lesson for how to throw epic launches, even when they're in beta mode!

LESSON #47:
LESSON #48:

LESSON #49:
New Life = New You = New Habits
LESSON #50:
Module XI: LEGALIZATION
In this Module, you'll learn what it takes to get your business legalized after you've already generated some income.
I advise all of my Queens to legalize their empires, however, I'll show you how to do it without having to hire a legal army.
The trick to online business legalization is starting your business without legal standing and getting it situated as it evolves.
But in this Module, I teach you how to make your business super legal, super safe, super secure, in a timeline that works for you.For example: I betcha didn't know that you can make money from your business before you go legal, didya?
And I betcha didn't know you could run an online business in almost any industry when you aren't certified in your field...didya? This Module will show you how!
Module XII: ADAPTATION
In this Module, you'll learn that being an entrepreneur means constantly learning new things in order to keep growing as a business and a leader.
I'll teach you how to get comfortable in the unknown, but I'll also teach you how to shed light on that unknown vulnerability by analyzing your audience, conducting regular industry research, and planning for global expansion.
An online business is capable of stretching beyond our general vicinity.
In this Module, I'll ask you to think beyond your first year in business to start mapping out a stellar future for your longterm goals.
By the end of this Module, you'll feel confident trusting your intuition and disciplined routine to guide your business forward

MY PERSONAL MANTRA MASTER LIST
Refer to this list whenever you need a quick jolt of inspiration to get you out of a funk and back into a productive workflow!
FOR FEAR
"Fear is a survival instinct, but that doesn't mean it's reliable. Were we always to abide by the will of our fears, we'd never experience the emotional rushes of life, like our first kiss or jumping into a pool of water."
FOR SELF-DOUBT
"There is nothing that you can't do - especially since the invention of the Google search engine, which essentially provides free education for all."
FOR FEELING STUCK
"Sometimes not working is the best thing for your work. Often it's through mundane activity that our brains conjure the best solutions."
FOR TAKING THAT FIRST STEP
"It doesn't matter what step you take - good or bad, big or small - all that matters is that you take a step."
FOR SUPPORT
"Someone out there in the great wide world is waiting to get their hands on your magic."
FOR CONFIDENCE
"You'll never be 100% empowered if you stifle your truest self. Lean into your wildest weirdness!"
FOR OVERWHELM
"STOP, DROP & ROLL - STOP whatever you're doing that's causing your stress, DROP any expectations that are adding to your stress, and ROLL into a low priority task that causes zero stress."
FOR A REALITY CHECK
"The top of the pyramid may be the most iconic brick of the entire structure, but it's every brick underneath it that makes it such an important piece. This is hard work and not every inch of it is pretty to look at, but that's how magnificent things get built: one dusty brick at a time."
FOR PROCRASTINATION
"It doesn't matter why you're blowing this off, what matters is whether or not you're going to call yourself on it and show up before it's too late. Religious beliefs aside, there's no proof that you get any more chances other than this one life, so make it count."
Now hop to it, !
THE IMPORTANCE OF BELIEF
"Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we're supposed to be and embracing who we are."
- Brene Brown
, I need you to understand something that's more important than anything else you'll do in this course: it's imperative that you believe in yourself and what you're creating.
Even if it takes a little while to see results and especially if the going gets tough, you need to maintain that belief in yourself.
Because the fact of the matter is, this stuff works. PERIOD. You're going to see results if you just stick with it. If you put in the hard work, show up when you say you will, and continue to lead with passion, you'll thrive!
But all of that starts by waking up every morning and choosing to believe in yourself.
Believe in your ability to create, help, love, share, be, live, have, give, take, play, and then some!
So remember, : don't sell yourself short, always stick up for your dreams, and - above all else - believe in yourself!
