HOW DO YOU BALANCE BETWEEN THE WHELMS?
Meditation + Grounding + Creative Expression
Every. Damn. Day.
This year, you'll face a whirlwind of new skills, courageous leaps, and beautiful abundance and it will be magnificent, I can feel it in my bones!!!
But with all that comes a hoard of emotional foes: anxiety, fear, anger, cowardice, heartbreak, depression, self-loathing.
No matter how confident you are coming into this course, I assure you...shit's gonna get emotional. So how do you stay whelmed when the torrents are chaotic?
DEVELOP A MEDITATION PRACTICE | Meditation will help you hone a power for quickly recognizing negative reactions to over or underwhelming situations and teach you how to pull yourself back into the present moment where you can remember that you're safe and that this is a lifelong process.
GO NATURE GROUNDING ONCE A DAY | Going out into nature and putting your bare feet into soil, water, sand, gravel, or whatever you have access to, will help recharge your nervous system and alleviate symptoms of excess whelm.
PLAYTIME WITH CREATIVE EXPRESSION | Creative expression is a form of energy exchange where you release emotions through physical expression. Any style will do the trick! Your business ought to be created around something creative that you love to do and can determine a profit value from, but if it doesn't that's ok too.
Binaural beats, consistency & acceptance FTW!
Everyone is capable of reaching a peak performance flow state, but it takes practice and patience to discover what works best for you.
However, regardless how fickle you may be, I've found that EVERYONE can reach a killer flow state when they follow these three guidelines:
BINAURAL ALPHA OR BETA BEATS | Alpha beats put your brain into a relaxed state. If you're experiencing overwhelm, put on some Alpha Binaural Beats. Beta beats, however, ignite your creativity and focus. Any inspired work days should be filled with Beta Binaural Beats.
CONSISTENT WORK & PLAY ROUTINES | You may not feel like you're in a flow state as you get started, but trust me! If you stick to a regular work routine, your brain will begin to expect that commitment and produce amazing work during that time frame.
ACCEPT WHAT COMES | Living in a flow state means acknowledging and accepting when you do and do not feel like doing certain tasks. Don't get me wrong: you still need to train your brain to accept the routines you want to create, but you can pay attention to certain days that feel too challenging and ask yourself what you'd prefer instead. As long as you're doing ANYTHING, no matter how small, even remotely related to your business, you'll still be productive.
COMMIT TO MEDITATING
If you have to, start off for 1 minute meditations every morning and work your way up to 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, etc.
Until you commit to a regular meditation routine, you'll struggle to maintain a grip on your mind's penchant for fear-based babble which can immediately tip into over or underwhelm.
FIND BEATS YOU CAN TRUST
If you haven't yet, get over to YouTube and search for "binaural beats concentration". This search will provide a list of beats - FOR FREE - that can keep you focused and productive.
Save whichever beats you like most. Some people can't stand some beats that others absolutely love, so this is really a very intimate decision.
Once you've chosen your beats, turn them on - AND USE HEADPHONES - every time you sit down to Cake Queen so you can get the most out of your work in this course.
COMMIT TO A BALANCE
OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES
Look here, : if you wanted to learn how to create a profitable online business from scratch that makes thousands of dollars over night, there are a plethora of other coaches you could've chosen over me.
Instead, you came here to create something that lights up your soul.
But that means listening to your soul first and foremost. I know the struggle: having so many expectations that you force yourself to work until you're burned out.
For a while there, "Burned Out" was my middle name. Tiffany Burnedout Williams is what they called me. But that never brought me any happiness and guess what? It didn't bring me any more success either.
So if you haven't already, I want you to - right here, right now - commit out loud that you will do your very best to listen to your intuition. Work when you feel inspired, take breaks when you need them, blow this off for a week and then come back stronger than ever. All that matters is that you begin to trust your intuition, not your mind. Your mind will abuse you, where your intuition only serves to guide.
